The brief was to build a realistic yet theatrical set-up that looked like a set, not a retouched or Photoshopped image. We collaborated with Carmel, a fantastically talented scenic artist who we have worked with many times. We played around with flat scenic painted cut outs, including the ice cream van which looked amazing. >It was a great chance to showcase some traditional setbuilding skills that are usually hidden behind the scenes, or hidden in retouching. You can see how it all came together from relatively simple elements.
